SHOMOSHTI – Prosperity for the poor and disadvantaged is Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) mandated project, For facilitating the market change, through linking with the private, public and civil society service providers. Shomoshti envisions that 39050 rural HHs (Poor, disadvantage and women) out of 180,000 in Khulna Region will have access and use improve technical services, with expected results in higher yields, better market prices and increased income. Simultaneously the project facilitates empowerment and building solidarity to create demand and access in social services to sustain income and lead to prosperity. Shomoshti address specific sub-sector based market constraints to have sustainable change of existing market system.
